Hi I’m Rohan, 24, I live on Iona, a small island in the Inner Hebrides in Scotland. Originally I’m from Darwin in the Northern Territory, Australia, but I went to high school and university on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
If you follow this blog it will quickly become apparent that I have an inexplicable love for chickens. You don’t have to understand it, I don’t either. Just roll with it.
I have a keen interest in religion and politics, especially how they relate to social action, peace and justice. I have a special interest in seeing bridges being built between disparate communities, especially between Christians (particularly evangelical Christians) and LGBT people.
You can also expect to find all the usual garbage: pictures of Zelda, Pokemon, Doctor Who, Harry Potter and whatever other consumable media has set my little heart aflutter. This is Tumblr after all.
I run a YouTube channel where I talk about news, thoughts and what I’m up to. I blog over at RohanSalmond.com about faith, sexuality, new and culture. I’m also on Twitter, where sometimes I try to be funny and sometimes I try to be insightful, but mostly I am just very, very silly.
