ohrillamyrilla asked: Loved your message about the Internet :) Also wanted to say good luck in the job hunt! I'm going through that whole process myself at the moment and it is deflating to get a form letter back from something you worked hard on...I am sure the Right Thing is out there for you and it'll be worth all the crap before it! xo

Theological Implications of the Internet
So I was talking about my service last night with Mike, who is a member of the Community and a Methodist minister. I was talking to him about all the ways the internet is exciting, like when people in developing economies get their hands on internet access and it gives them a voice the same as people in developed economies - “Besides the language barrier,” I said, “although...

LOVE this, Rohan. You did an amazing job with it! Does Iona ever do audio recordings of sermons?
Hmm no. That was one of my pet projects I wanted to get off the ground but never had time to do. I could make videos delivering my sermons I guess, but they would be a little out of context being without...
The World Wide Web and God's indiscriminate...
So it turns out my service about how the creation of the World Wide Web reminds us of God’s grace was a hit. I didn’t have people asking me if I was in ministry this time, but the folk at the abbey still loved it.
Click through for the full text. Now y’all can tell me how I got the history of the Web all wrong. I’ve removed the bits of liturgy I don’t have the rights...

Shucks
So two of the three jobs I'm going after have sent...
And that’s okay! It’s just that each application takes hours and hours andhoursandhoursandhours to fill out, and when you only have about three hours of free time a day (more or less) then that’s a heck of a lot of time to spend on something you see no result from.
This last one I’m going after is a bit different from the others and I really would like the job (and I would...

I VOLUNTEER! I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE! (Just kidding. Mostly. Only because our destiny is star-crossed and obstructed by several continents, any kind of rational sense, and your consent.)
This was lovely to come home to after work, thank you <3

Dream
I had a dream last night that I discovered Friends was originally a series of porn episodes that just happened to have clever dialogue and got really popular so they made it into a mainstream series for television.
Later on in the dream Prince Harry was flirting with me and I was like “wat 0_o” but then he went to the toilet and never came back.
