I know I said I was a Ravenclaw in that video I made…

But honestly I still don’t know. Like, I think I’d fit in to Ravenclaw pretty damn well because I am in love with intelligence, wit and logic, but I also think I’d fit many of the Slytherin positive traits as well. And when it comes to the negative traits, I know I’m far more predisposed to selfishness than emotional instability.

I’m actually wondering how much the traits really mattered by the time it got to Harry’s time at Hogwarts though. Like Crabbe and Goyle were sorted in to Slytherin in seconds, but are total idiots with no sense of cunning or resourcefulness at all. Maybe the characteristics of the students mattered to the founders of the school, but the Sorting Hat decided just to put students in the houses they wanted to go.

I kind of feel that Ravenclaw and Slytherin are actually pretty similar in terms of the sorts of students they seem to attract. So yeah, I think at my best I’m a Ravenclaw, at my worst, I’m a Slytherin.
